TCLI Foundation is a Black-led registered non-profit organization in Alberta, Canada, focused on supporting social and economic growth in marginalized communities through education and social interventions. We provide solutions to mitigate against existing community gaps by providing educational and social programs. Our goal is to empower the marginalized in our community, give voice to the voiceless, and hope to the despondent. Job Description:
- Write and distribute email
- Develop and maintain a filing system
- Team Education: Effectively develop rapport and communicate with groups to inspire learning
- Effectively modify program length or flow based on participant’s learning objectives
- Define learning goals for each training initiative. Identify the most appropriate and effective training approach including selection of training media and materials
- Develop age-appropriate presentations including assignments were applicable
- Facilitate training in a virtual session both as individual and group
- Develop working curriculums and activities for the program
- Provide necessary documentation and follow-up
- Ensure a safe virtual space is kept
- Participate in achieving program goals and objectives
- Assist in creating weekly schedule
- Ensure participants have a safe and enjoyable experience
- Provide support to team and participant during programs and activities
- Provide ideas, suggestions and feedback, that can be incorporated into syllabus, activities and overall program structure
Employment:
Contract-based (6-10 weeks) with the possibility of extending the contract post-summer camp
