The following programs are currently open and are taking applications:
Sisterhood Project
The Sisterhood initiative provides a platform for women empowerment and promotes the independence and inclusion of women of African heritage. The 8-week bootcamp is held once a year with a robust curriculum and includes activities such as, financial literacy, education, and mental health support for women social, economic, and physical empowerment. It also creates a safe space for non-judgmental and open sharing of experiences.
Book Club
The virtual book club is for children aged 5-11 years old. The aim is to promote literacy and a reading culture by engaging children in several activities such as reading and sharing programs, so as to expose children to diverse forms of literature. This book club runs monthly throughout the year. Books and other forms of literature are available on our digital library.
