CornChaff

A Cameroonian staple, but common to the North and South West regions

Ingredients

  • Corn
  • Black, white, or red beans
  • Your choice of meat
  • Onions
  • Tomatoes
  • Garlic
  • Dry Fish
  • Cray Fish 
  • Pepper
  • Palm Oil

Directions

  1. Boil corn.
  2. Boil beans. 
  3. Put the boiled corn and beans in a pot and mix.
  4. Add onions, tomatoes, ginger, and garlic.
  5. Add your meat, pepper, dry fish, and cray fish.
  6. Bring to boil for 20mins.
  7. Add palm oil.
  8. Cook for another 20mins.

Enjoy! This dish can be eaten for breakfast, lunch, or dinner on it’s own or  with fish roll, puff puff, or baton.
